Benjamin Shindel is an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering. In the summer of 2018 he began working on a project involving the simulation of the atomic structure around defects and TEM image simulation of TiO2 and CeO2. In his free time, Benjamin chairs the ASU chapter of Material Advantage and writes short fiction and poetry.
