Tu-Uyen Phan

tuuyenTu-Uyen Phan is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science Engineering.  In the fall of 2016 she began working with Ph.D. student Diane Haiber on the synthesis and characterization of CeO2-TiO2 and their use as photocatalysts for hydrogen evolution.

She enjoys experimenting with baking and cooking as much as she enjoys experimenting in her research. In attempts to stay connected with her Vietnamese culture, she likes to host dinner parties to use her friends as guinea pigs in order to test out her latest Vietnamese dish.  So far, no one has died by consuming her food.
