William Bowman

Will Bowman backpackWilliam Bowman joined the group as an undergraduate in 2010 and has continued his work as a Ph.D. student in Materials Science and Engineering. He received a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in the same discipline in 2012. His research on ceria-based oxygen ion conductors for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) is motivated by an interest in sustainable energy technologies and natural resource conservation.

Will was a 2011 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and is currently a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow.
