Rishav Kumar Baranwal

Rishav joined the Crozier Research Group in Fall, 2021 as PhD student. He started working on analyzing and denoising the in situ Electron Microscopy datasets of Pt-Ceria nanoparticles under catalytic conditions.

Rishav completed his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University in 2019. In his undergraduate, he worked on Surface Engineering techniques where he modified the surface of substrates, to improve the surface properties, using metallic, alloy and multi-layer coatings. After completing his Bachelors, he joined as a design engineer in Maruti Suzuki India Limited for 2 years (2019-2021), where he was responsible for the automobiles’ part development from the design stage to mass production stage.

Rishav enjoys playing guitar, cooking, hiking and travelling.
