Valielza O’Keefe is an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering with a minor in Spanish. In fall 2017, she began working with Joshua Vincent on projects related to the Pt-CeO2 catalyst system, particularly in characterization and synthesis of ceria morphologies.
Valielza enjoys practicing karate, dancing, and spending time with family. She’s a passionate political advocate, working with the anti-poverty group, RESULTS. She is also very interested in environmental and science policy.
